STEFAN BECK was born in Pennsylvania in 1982, and raised in Connecticut and Illinois. He is a 2004 graduate of Dartmouth College. From 2004 to 2006 he was the Associate Editor of The New Criterion, for which he writes the Fiction Chronicle. He has worked as a freelance writer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Nemea, Greece; Palo Alto, California; Hartford, Connecticut; Charlottesville, Virginia; Chapel Hill, North Carolina; and Hudson, New York. He currently lives in central Connecticut with the choices he’s made.
His reviews and essays have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Barnes & Noble Review, The Weekly Standard, The New York Sun, The New Criterion, Policy Review, National Review, and Fortean Times, the British journal of strange phenomena.
